Recently, I attended a leadership conference and learned about a prayer shield ministry. As a speaker and writer, I was convicted about the need to establish a prayer shield.
According to Sharon Hill, Author & Founder of
OnCall Prayer, "A prayer shield member is more than a prayer partner. This commitment is an assignment from God to pray for you and your ministry. This is taking prayer to a much higher level."
She also encourages ministry leaders that although they may be hesitant, leaders must take the first step and ASK! She emphasizes that the 'three' who accept the assignment will be chosen of God and honored to be asked.
So here goes...I'm asking!
