June 7-8 I had a beautiful time in Arkansas speaking to 3 Stonecroft groups.
Next month, I'm speaking to leaders at Rejoice Church on August 21 for their Reveal Refresh Renew Conference.

If God puts me on your heart, please pray that He will anoint my message! When God reveals Himself to leaders it produces a multiplier effect when they bring God's refreshment and renewal to the women they lead!

| Hey Friend, |
It's summer and starting this month, I'm changing things up a bit! Instead of writing one longer devotional, I've written three shorter segments. I plan to post more frequently, with a small disclaimer: Like my friend Melissa often says, "Lord willing and the creek don't rise."
At the end of each post, there's a question for you. I hope you'll share your own ideas with my community of readers. Right now, I have over 1300 subscribers, so your answers can help a lot of girls! This blog is all about shared wisdom so that together we can grow in the Lord!
It's all for Him!

| 3 Easy Ways to Maintain Peace | |
The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace (Psalm 29:11).
The promise of peace is an awesome promise, but guess what? It's our responsibility to maintain it. Ever notice that brand new car you just bought needs gas every week? So do we! We still have to run to the peace station for a fill up.
This month, I'm sticking with the theme of maintaining peace. With the kids out of school, family vacations and the long hot days of summer upon us, you'll want to check out 3 easy ways to keep your peace:
1) Get a revelation
Marriage can be one of the most difficult places to maintain peace. What do you do when conflicts arise? How do you resolve the hurt and anger? Without a revelation, the temptation to harbor bitterness is huge. Find out how to get a revelation when frustrations tempt you to blame your spouse.
2) Refuse to maintain regrets
Even without adversity or issues, us girls are prone to despair. Emotions, mood swings, hot flashes! When does it ever end? Sometimes we have good reason to be down in the dumps and other times-blame it on hormones. Even so, nursing regrets gets us nowhere.
June 13 is the day both my son Jake and my father graduated to heaven (not in the same year, but 8 years apart). Even though it's been 12 years and 4 years, respectively, this year was harder than most. You won't want to miss this post. There's a surprise waiting...something I've never done on a blog post before. Find out how to shift into peace when regrets threaten your joy.
3) Guard Your Heart
Sometimes it's the little irritants that bother us the most. A light burden becomes heavy if we hold it for a long time. Try holding a bottle of water with your arm extended for just five minutes. At first, it's easy, but after a minute your arm wants to fall off.
Here I expose my dirty laundry and tell you a real life example of how I learned how to put a guard over my heart and walk in peace.
