CVOR / Facility Audit Overview Seminar

Transportation Health & Safety Association of Ontario (THSAO) is hosting a special 1 day event which covers all aspects of the Ministry of Transportation legislative responsibilities for carriers and those who are responsible for trucks and buses within your fleet. 

This session is ideal for individuals and/or owners:

·         of small to medium size fleet of vehicles,

·         tasked with the responsibility of maintaining vehicle and/or driver related files

·         wanting to upgrade or attain knowledge of the legislative responsibilities related to vehicle and/or driver files

·         who have received a "Warning Letter" from MTO in reference to an increasing violation rate

 
 
Session Highlights Include:
 

1.       A review of The Highway Traffic Act - including basic purpose, intent, definitions and specific Commercial applications and requirements such as the classified Driver licence system, time records and vehicle maintenance.
 
2.       The CVOR process including basic elements, thresholds and violation rates.
 
3.       MTO Facility Audit process including Training, Monitoring, Driver and Maintenance files required to be maintained.
 
4.       Hours of Service and Pre Trip / Vehicle Maintenance regulations 555/06 and 199/07 overview from an Operators (company) perspective.
 
Attendees will receive a Certificate from THSAO recognizing their participation in this session.
