MONSOON & HEAT RELIEF ALERTS
Please note that this Friday, June 15th the monsoon season starts, with this the relative humidity increases. When the heat index hits 111 degrees or higher we ask meal providers to prepare enough food to feed 55+ guests. Sergio will be contacting each community ahead of time if additional food and space is required. Thank you in advance for being willing to provide additional food and accommodations. This Heat Index Chart will allow you to track the temperature with the humidity to see what is considered extreme heat. |

DID YOU KNOW?
The last IHELP Volunteer Council Meeting made us aware that many did not know that you can click on the Facebook, Twitter, Garden, & YouTube icons at the bottom of the newsletter. These are not advertisements. If you click on the Facebook one you will get up to date information about what is happening at TCAA. The green b one is the Escalante Community Garden blog where you will get a host of information about gardening and what is growing at the Escalante Community Garden. The YouTube icon has the latest videos. And if you want to follow TCAA even more closely there is the twitter icon with the little blue bird. I hope this clears up any confusion, and helps you keep informed about TCAA, IHELP and the Escalante Community Garden. |
