Provide Hope through Furniture Donations

Furnishing Hope partners with IHELP in providing furniture for some of our IHELP clients.  Here is a list of some of their needs as they are low on furniture at this time.

THANKS FOR FILLING OPEN MEAL DATES:

Many thanks to those who have stepped up to fill our open meal dates! TCAA and IHELP Participants really appreiate it!

IHELP Volunteer Story

I have been involved in IHELP for over two years now  I can't fully explain how much it has touched my life.  I have seen so many IHELP participants receive the assistance they need to get back on their feet.  Many participants have received jobs, housing, and furniture to make a fresh new start.  The success of IHELP seems to me to be the workings of so many communities taking the time to care for others.  The biggest change I see in my own life and in other volunteers is that it gives people a chance to recognize the needs and to safely help address them.  There is no fear of participating in this program.  In fact, I believe having this program takes the stigma away from being homeless.  There is a recognition that people come into the program for many different reasons.  The fact that so many different faith communities are working together and getting to know one another is also one of the benefits of the IHELP Program.

And, many different agencies come together to help each other as well.  There are many partners that lead to the success of IHELP- Tempe Faith Communities, T.E.A.M, City of Tempe, Urban Outreach, and Furnishing Hope are just a few of the agencies I know of that work alongside the IHELP Program.  I am so proud to be a part of such TEAM WORK!
