IHELP Meeting & Volunteer Thank You
Please join us on Tuesday, September 20th at the next IHELP Meeting.  The meeting will take place at Bethany Community Church, room D3 at 6:30.  We will be distributing the first draft of the IHELP Guide, please come and pick up a copy for your church.  We are also excited to start planning our April IHELP event; we have many great ideas, please come and give your input! We need the support of every congregation to help pull off this exciting new event.  We also have a small Thank you gift TCAA would like to give to our faithful IHELP supporters. Please plan on attending so we can thank you and get started with our future planning.
Open Meal Dates

The First & Third Wednesdays of the month are still availabe as open Meal dates.  If you are interested in providing a meal for any of the following dates, please let Sam know.  Here are the available dates:

 

September 21st

October 5th & 19

November 2nd

 

Another OPEN MEAL DATE IS MONDAY, OCTOBER 31!

IHELP Extra Meals

We are still in need of extra IHELP meals for emergency purposes.  If you are able to make a meal for about 10-12 people in order for us to freeze and use as needed, please contact Sam or Kathy.  Your help in this matter is most appreciated!

Additional IHELP NEEDS

Thanks everyone for so graciously providing for the needs of our IHELP participants.  We have some ongoing needs below along with some **new ones:

 

**Reading glasses

**Blankets

Toothpaste

Deodorant (full size please)

 

*WATER DRIVES: (with the weather heating up IHELP guests are in need of water to keep hydrated).

 

*Coordinate a Towel or Sheet Drive - so our clients can keep up their hygiene and keep their employment.

 

*Wash sheets for IHELP Clients - did you know when Communities/churches don't wash their own sheets IHELP Staff wash them? The IHELP Manager, the IHELP Coordinator, or the Communications Coordinator will wash the sheets.  If you are interested in helping out, please contact IHELP.

Last Saturday official training started for the Mayor's run.  If you are interested in being a part of this exciting team, please contact Kathy!   Early registration ends September 15, of course you can always register after September 15th, but if you register now you can start training early with TEAM TCAA!
