CASE MANAGEMENT CORNER - SUCCESS STORIES
Ever wonder just how many IHELP success stories there are? Well there are many more than we are able to share in our newsletter. When someone leaves the program they don't always share what is going on in their lives. However, we are tracking those stories that we can. Here are two recent stories we would like to share.
Sam Sumner recently ran into a former IHELP client that was managing a local car wash. This client who would like to remain anonymous only needed assistance for a very short time and says, "IHELP was just what he needed at the time."
Another client, we'll call Edward, received financial assistance from IHELP in order to do intake for anger management classes. Taking this class prevented him from going to jail for 6 months. Edward had previously been homeless for 3 months. Due to the financial and Case management assistance he received from IHELP Edward is now employed and has an apartment. He is doing his best to maintain everything he has worked toward.
We are very proud of of the efforts both of these clients have made to improve their lives and feel privileged to help in the process. |

IHELP OPPORTUNITIES
There are many opportunities available to serve IHELP. We are still in need of the following help:
*Coordinate a Water Drive (with the weather heating up IHELP guests are in need of water to keep hydrated).
*Laundry Sheets for IHELP Clients ~
*Donate sheets
*Coordinate a Towel or Sheet Drive, so our clients can keep up their hygiene and keep their employment.
For more information, please contact Sam Sumner. |
