Greetings!
As I am getting ready to depart for Uganda tomorrow, my heart is filled with so much to say... It seems absolutely crazy to me that I am going to miss
the birth of my second baby (Blooma St. Paul) next week. But, my journey to Uganda is calling and there are mamas awaiting Blooma's love and support.
I am bringing with me the generous gift of $30K
that you all have helped me raise this fall. This gift goes directly towards Off the Mat, building the birth center and helping the sweet Uganda mamas birth safely. Blooma's love will be in abundance. Many of you have asked me if I am excited for the trip... I am not
exactly sure how I feel...scared, nervous, calm, prepared, so many feelings. I am trying hard not to have any
expectations and just trusting in the journey.
Thank you all, especially
my staff and sister who will be watching over the studio and birthing
Blooma #2. I could not do this without you!
I also wanted to send a little note to a few mamas that are near and dear to my heart; Jesse Bennett, Joanne Grobe and Bridgett Erickson will be birthing their babies while I
am away. I am with you all in spirit. With minimal access to computers I will try my best to send updates via the Blog and Facebook. To view some images of the Shanti Uganda Birth Center go to: http://www.shantiuganda.org/
Have a fantastic February. Do not forget to LOVE yourself up at Blooma and take some great classes and treat yourself to a wellness service. YOU deserve it!

~What are our new clients saying about Blooma?~
I really liked the yoga class at Blooma! And while I very much
appreciated the community with other moms and moms to be, what I
appreciated most was that the yoga class was somewhat challenging--I'm
sore today in places that haven't been sore for a while. I have done a
lot of yoga before (several times a week for about 4 years) and was
first and foremost looking for fitness. All the prenatal
yoga/pilates/fitness videos I have watched have been really lame and
lightweight, so I was pleasantly surprised to be getting warm in class.
Thank you. Expect to see me regularly for the next 20 or so weeks.
~Lisa Mabley
Thanks for your feedback Lisa!! At Blooma, we believe that pregnant mamas should be strong and confident through their pregnancy! We are glad that you enjoyed how prenatal yoga can be both gentle and challenging at the same time!
