My Little Pakora

Unveils Expanded Collection of Organic Clothing for

Infants and Toddlers and a New Website That Makes It

Easy for Parents to Mix & Match

Belmont, Mass. (September 2011) -- My Little Pakora is pleased to unveil an expanded collection of organic clothing for infants and toddlers on a new website that makes it easier for moms to shop for the perfect outfits and organic baby gifts.

The new collection offers a wider variety of colors and designs that feature the perfect blend of Indian-inspired elements with Western fashions. The clothing can be purchased as individual pieces or in mix & match sets in sizes that now range from infant to 5T, allowing children - and their moms! - to enjoy these unique styles for several years.

The new clothing line and website help to reinforce My Little Pakora founder Sonia Gupta's original mission of creating multi-cultural kids as she continues to tap her Indian roots for cultural icons and motifs that give her baby clothes extra flourish. At the same time, Ms. Gupta shares the environmental awareness that is also part of her heritage by continuing to use in all of her products certified organic cotton that is grown through sustainable farming techniques.

"Everything in my collection has an East-West flair because that's how I see myself, having been born in India but brought up here in the US," Ms. Gupta said. "The diversity, and versatility, of this new collection reflect the evolution of My Little Pakora as a company. I am very pleased that in just three years we have been able to respond to our customers' requests and offer this complete line of products, sizes and colors."

Visitors of MyLittlePakora.com can see a variety of outfits, including tunic and poplin dresses for girls that can be worn through any season. The tunic dresses, for example, are made of a lightweight knit fabric, making them ideal to wear on their own in warmer weather - or easy to layer over some pants when temperatures start to cool. Lightly tailored with a Nehru collar and tapered waist that flairs out into an A-line skirt, the dresses still boast some well-placed pockets, making them a relaxed and comfortable fit for kids.

The traditional Indian Kurta , or long-sleeved shirt, for boys also features a Nehru collar along with bell sleeves. To give it a Western touch, Ms. Gupta used a vintage car pattern across the neck. Parents of infants will appreciate the attention to detail given to the Kimono bodysuits, which come in long- or short-sleeves. The side snaps on the bodysuit make it easy to dress the baby; a larger rear-area accommodates all cloth and disposable diapers, and gives the baby some room to grow so that they can wear it longer than a regular onesie.

The vivid colors on all of My Little Pakora's clothes reflect the rich and fragrant spices of India, and the

designs are reminiscent of  some of the "rangoli" patterns traditionally made during the country's annual festivals.

My Little Pakora's simple-to-navigate website also makes it convenient for parents to shop for four-, six-, or seven-piece sets. Layering T-shirts with pants or a dress offer cost-effective strategies for filling out a child's closet for the school year.

All of the clothes are manufactured under Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS), and the dyeing processes are eco-friendly, PVC and phthalates free.

"It was my goal to make high-quality organic clothing accessible to everyone," Ms. Gupta said.
