HadleyStilwell, Designer of the Fashionable and Professional Wardrobe for Breastfeeding Mothers, Introduces the Jet Set as the Definition of Elegant Versatility for Modern Moms

The Jet Set includes a Jacket, Skirt, Dress, and the always-popular Crossover Shirt to give breastfeeding moms style and comfort in a versatile, flattering, grab-and-go wardrobe that moves perfectly from the boardroom to the playground to dinner out with friends.

Seattle (September 2011) - HadleyStilwell, designer of unique tailored and professional clothing for breastfeeding mothers, is pleased to announce the addition of the Jet Set to its popular collection of Belted Jet Set in Black

classic, tailored, coordinating pieces. HadleyStilwell's Jet Set is about mix-and-match flexibility that creates multiple quick, pulled-together breastfeeding- and pumping-friendly outfits for any situation. Adding an additional two-piece Crossover Shirt Set to the Jet Set creates an even more extensive wardrobe.

A video showing the Jet Set's numerous combinations and featuring reviews from the mom-models is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NNwxMIb2VM

The Jet Set mom is on the go, whether near or far from home. She's busy fulfilling the multiple roles in her life, and is constantly juggling the often-conflicting demands of home, children, work, friends, family, and herself. The Jet Set collection offers her an easy, pulled-together look that gives her confidence - and confidence is a key to the commitment to breastfeed - a confidence that is critical at work when her commitment is further challenged by time constraints and the need to pump.

"The new Jet Set gives breastfeeding moms the gift of time because they don't have to waste precious minutes in the morning trying to figure out what to wear to work and nothing needs ironing," says HadleyStilwell founder Holli Harris. "I've worn the Jet Set dress with sneakers around town on a Sunday, changed into sandals for dinner, and then added the Jacket for an evening walk along the water. I then used the jacket again with the Jet Set Skirt and Crossover Shirt for a Monday morning board meeting."

The sleeveless Jet Set Dress uses butterfly pleats and gathers to create soft drapes that flatter all figures. The shoulder pleats and inner panel accommodate the fluctuating breast sizes of breastfeeding moms while allowing easy access to breasts for nursing or pumping. The Dress can be worn with or without the included obi sash. The Jet Set Skirt is exceedingly comfortable with a soft no-elastic waistband that can be folded over to adjust the overall length. The Jet Set Jacket coordinates with the Dress and Skirt and can be worn open and cascading down, or belted with the Dress's obi sash to create a suit. The Jacket nicely covers those areas new mothers are often sensitive about while also creating elegant, flattering lines over the Jet Set Dress or the included Crossover Shirt and Jet Set Skirt.

Jet Set while BreastfeedingAll four-piece Jet Sets include an Ivory Crossover Shirt, and the Jet Set colors (Onyx, Dark Chocolate, or Crocus) are specifically designed to coordinate with additional two-piece Crossover Shirt Sets, exponentially increasing the versatility of all pieces in the collection. The color combinations available in the Crossover Shirt Sets provide complementary neutrals and color tones set against the backdrop of the Jet Set collections and offer a beautiful splash of color. The Dark Chocolate Jet Set is also the first brown palette in the HadleyStilwell collection and was introduced in direct response to customer suggestions.

Made with a durable, machine washable (of course!), heavy jersey knit fabric that doesn't wrinkle even when crammed in carry-on luggage, the Jet Set makes it easy for working mothers to get dressed quickly with a professional look that always stays fresh. The fabric is lightweight enough to be all-day comfortable during the warm months, and perfect for a year-round layered wardrobe during all but the nastiest of winter storms. The wonderful lines of the clothing are drawing significant interest from non-breastfeeding moms, and from women who aren't even moms, who love that the design flatters every shape and size.

The Upper Breast Side (www.upperbreastside.com), the premier breastfeeding resource center in New York City, is the first to carry the Jet Set collection. They are an established leader in supporting local breastfeeding mothers. "The Upper Breast Side serves the same breastfeeding moms on-the-go that I design for," says Harris. "I can't think of a better fit for HadleyStilwell in New York City and it's an honor to be included in their offerings. I love that owner Felina Rakowski-Gallagher and her caring co-workers make it a point to support other women-owned businesses."

About HadleyStilwell

Launched in February 2009, the HadleyStilwell collection is for breastfeeding, working mothers who are looking for well-tailored pieces that integrate with their existing wardrobes. With just a quick change of accessories, women can achieve their professional look for the boardroom, without sacrificing comfort when they're relaxing at home on the weekends. HadleyStilwell clothes are the wardrobe staples women reach for - from the new, nursing mom who needs quick access to breasts for pumping, to the mother of young children who may find herself frequently running from desk to after-school activities each week.

Named after the daughter of founder Holli Harris, HadleyStilwell's designs reflect Harris's goal of helping new mothers breastfeed longer by minimizing the challenge of pumping or nursing. Harris aims to empower women to succeed at both career and motherhood.

To this end, the HadleyStilwell website also includes a section called "Milk Notes," which provides advice ranging from managing milk supply to managing career as a new mother, including a chart of the breastfeeding phases; tips on presenting the business case for breastfeeding to your boss; and the art of pumping in a car.

Visitors to the site can also sign up for weekly Milk Tweets via Twitter, through which Holli shares vetted sources for new mother information.

HadleyStilwell was also recently awarded a prestigious 2010 Eileen Fisher Business Grant for Entrepreneurs.
