Neat Stuff from Expo 2012
I just returned from attending our yearly industry trade show in Atlanta. Contemporary and Outdoor ruled the day.
Here are the things that made the biggest impression on me...

Once again, Fire Gear has brought out some of the most innovative products in the industry. This year features a collection of contemporary outdoor fires. The 3 sided pier (shown above) won 2 Vesta Awards. Kudos to Dennis Smith and crew....neat stuff!!
Sleek, contemporary, eye catching...Ortal boasts over 60 standard fireplaces, all with their signature frameless design and glass to glass corners. Imported from Israel, a sure hit with architects and designers.
The new electric fireplaces by Amantii are long (up to 102"), lean, and will brighten up any space...with colors like Buttercup Yellow, Candy Apple Red, and Coastal Blue. The electric category is growing, and these are some of the coolest.
The Mantis fireplace exceeds 90% efficiency, and vents with 1 1/2" PVC pipe. Plus it can also add humidy to the room. That's about as green as it gets..

First, there was crushed glass, then came fire gems, and now RHP introduces diamond nuggets....icy clear diamonds engulfed in flames.
