The New Year has brought with it new neighbors.  Although the move is only temporary, (while Gazelle remodels their 28th St store) the increased activity has been very refreshing. The parking lot is nearly full, (especially on Saturdays) and as a result we've noticed a nice increase in our store activity.

After a very dissappointing year, 2011 is starting off with a bang. January sales numbers are far ahead of last year. The mood is still cautious... but upbeat.

On another note, I'm looking forward to attending the HPBA Expo in Salt Lake City March 3-5.  All indications point to a more upbeat mood from both attendees and suppliers. As reported in Hearth & Home magazine, one manufacturer is introducing 20 new products at this show!

As always, (over the last 30 plus years) I will be searching for the most innovative, and finest quality fireplaces and hearth accessories available.
