Welcome!

To Eastmont's first e-newsletter! This is, hopefully, the answer to the embarassing problems that we had with some of our previous e-mails.
No more e-mails that multiply, no more images that don't show up, no more glitches! (I still keep my fingers crossed as I type this, quite an achievement in itself by the way...)
We will use this new format to inform you about the latest exhibits at the Elusie Gallery, deals and promotions at Eastmont Custom Framing, updates about the Eastmont Art Fund, and other  related news and events.
Because we understand that your time is limited and your mailbox often overflowing with too many unwanted messages, you have the option to stop getting mail from Eastmont by clicking the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of this page.  But we do hope that you will decide to keep receiving this newsletter and stay informed about what's going on in and around the town hall...  Thank You

Come and check this new selection out!

art workshop group original mixed media artwork byJILL LEWIS
07/14/2007 - 08/18/2007

Don't miss the artist reception this Thursday,       5-8PM

Jill Lewis is a recent graduate from Greenfield Community College and Massachusetts College of Art & Design.

The work shown in this exhibition, fragmented, is a result of a process combining photography, light sensitive emulsion and charcoal. Lewis' goal is to have present time dissolve away as her viewers enter into other worlds, allowing them to complete what is absent, and explore the disjointed imagery while creating their own visual story.

This exhibition is made possible in part by a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council
The Eastmont ArtFund          wants to help you!
The Eastmont Art Fund is inviting non- profit organizations to submit application to become the beneficiary of it's second art fund. The event will be organized along the same lines as the successful "Land Visions" that benefited the Pascommuck  Conservation Trust's Campaign to Save Echodale Farm:
a call to artists from throughout the Pioneer Valley asking for submission of artwork with a theme that will be determined to reflect the mission of the selected non-profit organization. All entries will be entered in a juried exhibition at the Elusie Gallery in Easthampton's Historic Town Hall.
The winning artwork selected by the jury will be published in a limited edition archival print. The prints and all original artwork submitted will be available for sale, with proceeds benefiting the chosen non-profit organization.
Commissions will be allocated to all artists whose work will have sold, in keeping with Eastmont Art Fund's mission's to create events that will not only benefit the recipient of the fundraiser but equally promote and support the local art community.

Organizations interested in being the beneficary of the Eastmont Art Fund's second fundraiser should request an application form by calling Jean-Pierre Pasche at 413-529-9265 or e-mail at artfund@eastmontgallery.net. Deadline for applying is August 25.
Wow, you're still here! Congratulations and Thank You! And just to make sure you are NOT going to click the "unsubscribe" button that is now dangerously close:
Mention this Newsletter on your next visit and we'll chop 20% off your custom framing order. (cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion or discount).
Thank You for reading,
