One of the many attractive qualities of AppleCreek Resort, Fish Creek, is the wide variety of specials and packages that are available to travelers-especially at this time of the year.

During a visit to the resort's home page, you'll find April and early May specials that include complimentary wine with your stay.  You can choose a romantic getaway for a savings or a spring blossom trolley tour package as well as many other options.

No matter your choice, you'll be staying in a resort with a central Door County location.

The resort offers six different room styles in a two-level sprawling building.

Making this resort popular with families (as well as coupleParkwood Lodge 2010 banners) is its centerpiece--a large indoor pool that is 40 feet long and three to five feet deep. It's surrounded by an indoor  patio and a natural beam ceiling made from Douglas fir.

Featured are more than 30 accommodations include king suite (with king-size bed), queen suite (with a single queen-size bed), rooms with two queen-size beds (some have sofa sleepers, too), rooms with one queen-size bed (some have sofa sleepers, too) and a standard/economy room-a rather charming room with a queen-size bed, vintage side tables and pedestal sink in the bathroom.

Also available is a deluxe guest house with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and more.

It's amazing how much is so close to this resort, located at Hwy. 42 and Cty Rd. F. Cross one street, and find yourself at Top of the Hill Shops, which offers about 25 shops,Egg Harbor Lodge Banner  boutiques, galleries and more.  Or you may prefer to join in a class at the nearby Peninsula School of Art. And within walking distance is the Door Community Auditorium, which offers a variety of entertainment options.

It's just a block to Peninsula State Park's biking and hiking trails. This state park also has an 18-hole golf course and is home to summer performances by American Folklore Theatre.   Learn more about AppleCreek Resort on DoorCountyNavigator.com
