| Reusable Shopping Bag
As we increase awareness of the environment, we have to reduce our plastic waste. A good solution is to take home new print books in a reusable shopping bag. Grocery stores are now giving away reusable propylene fabric shopping bags with purchase.
Alternatively, you can order cotton shopping totes from Amazon.com to be even more earth friendly. Designers have also come out with fashion-savvy shopping totes, but theirs look too much like large purses. I'd feel like a shoplifter if I stuffed books into a purse-like tote.

My favorite bookmarks came from directions in Reader's Digest's Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Things, edited by Don Earnest. You just snip off large corners from junk mail envelopes and slip these over the pages you wanna mark. Nice for notes, too.
