DONATE
CANNED FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: Host a food Drive to benefit Meals on Wheels. Download our Food Drive tools at www.mealsonwheelsgreenville.org/donate/to_donate.shtml
PAPER FOR ROUTE SHEETS: We use about a ream of paper a day to print the Route Sheets! If you or your business has plain or recycled paper to donate, please call 233-6565. It must be clean on one side, with no holes, folds or staples (i.e.: old letterhead or documents that do not contain sensitive information).
MAKE REGULAR DONATIONS WITHOUT PULLING OUT YOUR CHECK BOOK: If you make donations on a regular basis (or want to), we are now able to process Automated Recurring Billing transactions (automatic draft) to your credit card. That's right, you can donate without having to write a check or pay for the postage. Whether it is $5 a week, $50 a month or $5,000 a year you set the amount and billing frequency.
Contact Sheryl at 864-233-6565 x219 or Maureen x218 for more details. |

INCLEMENT WEATHER In the event of Inclement Weather, please check WYFF4 or News Channel 7 to find out if Meals on Wheels is open or closed.
IF YOU HAVE...
*Concerns of any kind about a recipient
*Direction changes or delivery information
Please call Rebecca Rebecca@mowgvl.org 233-6565 x-213 or Adrianne adrianned@mowgvl.org 233-6565 x-225
REMEMBER...
Keep hot meals separate from cold drinks and cold Meals. It is all about food safety!
BYOC
We encourage volunteers to bring their own insulated containers. A larger one for your hot meals (perhaps on wheels) and a smaller one for cold/frozen meals and cold beverages. Using your own container ensures that there will always be one available for you and that it is clean! It also eliminates the need to return to MOW after your route to return coolers which saves you time and mileage.
NEED A DAY OFF?
Pl ease let us know if you are unable to volunteer on your regular day due to vacation, illness, or for any other reason so we may arrange for a substitute. If you have arranged for your own substitute, THANK YOU! but still let us know who will be filling your shoes.
SUBSTITUTE LIST AVAILABLE If you have not done so, please pick up a list of substitues for your route at the reception desk. |
