A Change in Leadership Spring is here, bringing us new opportunities. I have the
opportunity and am honored to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of
Milwaukee Women inc. I have big shoes to fill, as Marsha Block moves
forward with her thriving consulting business. MWi is lucky to sustain Marsha's
involvement with our organization in her role as a steering committee member. I
look forward to working with our steering committee and partners to elevate the
presence of women on corporate boards and in executive suites. Thank you for
your continued interest in Milwaukee Women inc.

with them years of institutional knowledge, organizational experience and
cultural values, the lack of which may cripple an organization's future growth,
stability and sustainability. This study sought to fill
the leadership gap by providing a two-pronged solution: a particular focus
on the leadership development of women through the specific use of executive
coaching; and measuring the impact of this leadership development modality on
their organizational performance. Read more...
What Would Happen if Women Ran Wall Street "There is no doubt in my mind that Larry Summers, head of the White House
National Economic Council, was right when he said as president of Harvard
University at the National Bureau of Economic Research Conference on
Diversifying the Science & Engineering Workforce on Jan. 14, 2005: 'There may also be elements, by the way, of differing. There is some,
particularly in some attributes, that bear on engineering. There is reasonably
strong evidence of taste differences between little girls and little boys that
are not easy to attribute to socialization.'" Read more...
