KAL BARTESKI BIO
Kal Barteski is a designer, artist, poet, author, photographer, and bulletproof
positive attitude ambassador. Her work is colourful, genuine and
inspiring as she works fearlessly in a variety of media - including
pencil prayons. She is NOT a scrapbooker - but, she loves the people
who do it (plus, she really wants a Cropodile because they're so cool.)
She is the energetic owner of her own print media design studio call
iDeaMonsters, the author/artist of an internationally selling art/life
book called LoveLife - Collected, the heart behind the
LoveLife project, and an accomplished Canadian painter.
Best known for her loose and emotional style - Kal is best known for
her skillful combinations of imagery, feelings and words which create
memorable and striking pieces.
Educated in three provinces and two countries - she has studied Fine
Art, art history, illustration, typography, photography and graphic
design while honing her keen marketing and business sense while
maintaining a bulletproof positive attitude. She was awarded the
Women Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005 for her province and is the
recipient of several International Design Awards.
Kal is a true renegade artist living in chilly and far away Winnipeg,
Manitoba Canada with her super husband their cool dog PLUS a wee baby
