 Congratulations to Delmar, DE Haitian Congregation on the dedication of their new sanctuary. Sunday, May 13, the Delmar Church and Pastor Leroy Charles and staff gathered in the afternoon to celebrate their new sanctuary building. While a number of guests were present, the overwhelming majority of the attendees were from their congregation. Several hundred attended with numerous musical specials, notes of celebration, and prayers. Rev. Roland Edouard and other ministers addressed the overflow crowd. This is Delmar's second major building project, and they are continuing to grow.

Last year the used book table at the Family Camp Store was a popular place. We are interested in your donations of Christian fiction and non-fiction books, Bibles, and Christian CD's and tapes. All age (children, youth, and adult) appropriate books are welcome. The items may be dropped off during Mission Advance (NMI Convention, NYI Convention, District Assembly) April 13-16, 2012 at the Dover Sheraton Hotel, Dover, DE. Items may also be dropped off at the District Missional Resource Center, 108 Central Ave., Glen Burnie, MD prior to June 1st. Your generous donations will be greatly appreciated by our Camp Store Manager, Darlene Sowden. Community of Hope Church has a wonderful mission opportunity for youth/young adults groups on our district that may be interested in helping our inner-city church with Vacation Bible School. The structural integrity of the whole church is in danger. There will also be opportunity for ministry with women and children as this is a church that is very active in evangelism projects in their community. Cost: $1350 includes airfare, food, W&W insurance, lodging (dormitory style, no accommodations for couples) and sightseeing possibilities that will be decided later.
