Mike Kenny is one of the England's leading writers
specializing in young people's theatre. He is the
recipient of numerous awards, was included in the
Independent on Sunday's list of Top Ten Living UK
Playwrights and his plays are performed regularly
throughout the UK and all over the world.
Mike Kenny's awards include Time Out 'Critics Choice Best Children's Play' for Diary of an Action Man, Writer's Guild of Great Britain 'Best Children's Play' for Stepping Stones, Time Out 'Best Children's Play' for Sink or Swim, and the British Theatre Institute 'Best Children's Play' for Flags and Bandages. In 2000 Mike Kenny was the first ever recipient of The Children's Award for playwriting for children from the Arts Council of England .
