Using our Newsletter |
 |
Thank you to all our many active subscribers that
have shown a keen interest in our newsletter and
have responded with positive comments. One email,
sent by Carolyn Weeks of Chair Covers & Linens, Inc.
reassured us that the newsletter, among other
things, is helping our vendors build their business!
Please read her email below:
Naomi,
I want to commend you and your staff for the
fabulous job you do promoting the show! My
corporate office has never before paid anything
toward a Bridal Show and they were so
impressed by your media kit, your newsletter and
the professionalism of your staff that they have
decided to offset the cost of the Dallas Shows! This
is a true milestone! With over 24 local offices
throughout the United States the only Bridal Show in
the nation our marketing director feels is worthy of
corporate money is produced by Bridal Shows, Inc.!
Thank you so much! Keep those glorious newsletters
coming my way!
Carolyn Weeks
Account Executive
Chair COvers & Linens-Texas Division
Carolyn told us that it was after her corporate office
had a look at the November newsletter that they
allocated the funds to participate. Use your
newsletter to help you! Forward it to your corporate
office or other friends in the industry. If you would
like a copy of our media packet (pictured above) let
us know!

available for distribution at the Dallas Bridal Show.
There will
also be a promotion to brides-to-be for entry into a

The Gift of Referrals! |
|
The holiday season is a hectic time for everyone, but
especially those in the wedding industry. Many of
you may be participating in winter weddings, as well
as holiday parties, family photos, selling gift items,
and other various activities.
Many times we are so busy with all the demands of
the season that we forget our past customers! This
is an excellent time of year to reconnect with
customers that have used your service in the past.
Send them a holiday card or even a gift. Keeping the
communication open will put you first on their list
when someone asks for a referral.
Referrals are a key part of any business and can be
achieved quite simply. Take the time to send a
postcard, email, or greeting card with a handwritten
note. The recepient of such attention will never
forget your professionalism and kindness. The more
you keep your name in front of someone, the more
they will refer you.
So reach out this holiday season to past clients in
hopes of future prospects!

Motivational Message
Ninety percent of the world's woes come from people
not knowing themselves, their abilities, their frailties,
and even their real virtues. Most of us go all the way
through life as complete strangers to ourselves--
so how can we know anyone else.
-Sydney J. Harris
