In a world where we take so many extra
precautions to protect ourselves against
almost every possible danger, imaginary or
otherwise, why do we limit our precautions to
only those dangers perceived coming at us
from only this physical world?
There are many dangers facing us on a daily
basis from other entities from other
dimensions and worlds. The only reason why
we take absolutely no precautions against
these dangers is because the majority denies
their existence and pays no attention to them
whatsoever.
In spite of the overt, clear and present
danger we face from what we can lump together
and call Occultic forces; we still consider
such forces to be fantastical, benign and
even entertaining. Thus we ignore the danger.
The occult has been transformed from an
arcane secret art known only to a few to a
popular form of entertainment known to almost
everyone. Movies, television programs and
books on occultic themes are one of the most
popular genres in today's entertainment
industry. The occult is presented in
fashionable and desirable fashion. People
watching and reading learn about the occult
and instead of guarding a natural, normal and
healthy fear about that which can cause one
severe harm, the entertainment media
convinces the masses that the occult is
"cool." What is cool is what people want.
What people want is what people get.
At one time communicating with spirits was a
frightening and potentially dangerous affair.
Today it is a children's game. The Ouija
Board once used by Occultists to allegedly
contact spirits of the dead is now
manufactured by the toy company Hasbro/Parker
Brothers and is sold in popular toy stores
such as Toys R Us alongside the games
Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit. Children grow
up believing that Ouija Boards are fun and
entertaining. They have no idea that the
playing of such a game is no game at all.
Let's hope that the decision makers at
Hasbro/Parker Brothers do not believe in
spirits; for why else would they sell such a
dangerous occultic tool to unsuspecting children?
Occultic dangers do not stop in the toy
store. On television, there is one, maybe
two individuals who claim to be psychic
"Mediums" and that they allegedly communicate
with dead in front of their television
audience and bring messages to their
in-studio guests from their dead relatives
beyond. These programs are major million
dollar enterprises, billed as entertainment;
and yet believed as true by millions of
viewers. Yet, no one has ever bothered to
investigate whether or not these individuals
have any spiritual legitimacy whatsoever,
whether or not they are speaking to any
spirits or just making things up.
If their performance is just that,
make-believe, then this alone is deceptive
and insulting, who would want to watch it?
Yet, just in case they really do have so type
of connection with whatever, is it not
important to know just with what they are
connected? Just because they may have some
knowledge or information about someone
deceased does not validate the claim of where
they say such knowledge is coming from.
Anyone with a background in spiritual
experience knows that there are many
different types of entities out there all
desiring to communicate through a human host.
Providing accurate information about the dead
is about as easy as reading one's unconscious
mind. These entities read the human mind as
we would read a newspaper or the internet.
They have full access to human thoughts and
they can channel such information through a
human channel of choice.
However, unlike foolish human beings real
spiritual entities are not interested in
becoming entrainment celebrities. If and
when they allow themselves to be used in this
fashion, you can know for certain that they
are doing so because of their own secret and
nefarious agenda. Essentially these popular
forms of television entertainment are windows
and openings for mass possession of souls.
And the victims will be totally oblivious to
what has happened to them.
Communicating with the dead is certainly
possible. The Bible speaks of it as does
later Rabbinic and Kabbalistic literature.
All these sources speak about the possible
dangers in doing so.
There are many spiritual entities out there
in our greater world. Not all of them are
the souls of the dead. There are demonic
entities, fallen angels, nature spirits,
earthbound human souls and others. Most of
these do not look upon human beings as being
anything other than food.
Animals in nature know how to defend
themselves against predators; we humans
however are almost totally oblivious to those
predators who hunt us. We take no
precautions; we do not even accept the
realities. Therefore, we succumb.
Communicating With The Dead. There is so
much more to talk about. Later this week, I
plan to write some more.
Monday night in our KosherTorah Open Forum
I will address this topic in the detail it
deserves. Join me live or watch or listen to
