New Classes...
Yes, I will be offering a selections of new
classes starting in just a few weeks. I am
planning to offer classes in the TIKUNEI
ZOHAR, the ETZ HAYIM of Rabbi Hayim Vital
(Section 7), SHA'AR HAGILGULIM,
and possibly
SEFER HABAHIR.
All these classes will be for registered
students only. Registration fees will be
nominal and affordable. Payment arrangements
may be available for those in need. Some
class CDs will be made public for individual
purchase, others will not. Each class will
have its own rules regarding this and will
be announced before the class begins.
If you are interested in any one (or more) of
these above classes, please drop me an e-mail
and let me know. I hope that by next week I
will be able to offer an official
registration format. I will proceed with a
class with a minimum registration of 10.
All classes will be given live online through
the VirtualYeshiva private audio/video
conference room at our disposal.

Mazal Heshvan - The Trinity in Scorpio

Scorpio is three in one. It is the Scorpion,
Eagle and Phoenix; no other sign of the
Zodiac contains so much power. Yet, with
such great power also comes great responsibility.
The Akrav Scorpio is just stage one, the
lowest level of the power that can be
unleashed at this time.
Heshvan is the time when the Three Books,
opened and written when the Scales entered
Tishrei are read and thus implemented.
The book of the dead is open to those who
slither like the scorpion and sting from
behind the heal.
The middle book is open for those who wish to
fly and soar like the eagle; time will tell
just how high they fly.
The book of life is reserved for those who
humbly crawl into their nests and burn
themselves to ashes; for out of those ashes
is the Phoenix reborn; strong, vibrant and
ever so powerful and eternal, just like its
Master, the L-rd of all. So says Job 29:18.
The scorpion cannot unleash its powers in a
positive way, so it seeks so many other
avenues that unfortunately are self
destructive.
When one walks this path devastation can be
widespread. This is why the Flood of Noah
happened at this time; all because the
Scorpio did not ascend.
The scorpion must learn to spread its wings
and to fly like the Eagle, one of the four
faces of the Merkava.
Once it soars above, it can see clearly from
the heights what it could not see before.
Only when the scorpion has taken flight as
the Eagle can it ever expect to transform
into the Phoenix.
Only the Phoenix touches Heaven and thus
brings G-d's Presence down to Earth. For
this reason was the Temple consecrated during
this month. The Scorpio/Phoenix is the force
that bonds with the Shekhina.
This month is the time for great spiritual
opportunities and this month is a time when
one must guard oneself from the pitfalls that
strike from behind.
Heshvan brings with it the highest heights
and the lowest lows. It is a time of great
extremes.
If your pursuits are spiritual, now is the
time to invest heavily. Fast, pray, study
and meditate.
If your pursuits are physical, beware, for
the nature of the scorpion can bring you down
to the depths of depravity.
Be frugal in finances and be cautious with
love. Do not let the weight of the time
cause your finances to fall. Do not let the
heat of the moment fill you with a burning
passion that dies out in short time.
The Phoenix rises to the greatest heights.
Of all creatures, it alone lives forever,
untouched by the Sin of Adam in Eden.
The Phoenix soul can be cleansed of the Fruit
eaten from the forbidden Tree of Knowledge.
It can rise, fly and burn though all dross,
all with the sincere passion and fire of
honest spiritual intensity.
Very few can stand next to the Phoenix's
fire, Few can fly as high as the Eagle. All
should be aware of the scorpion's sting.
Three in one; one in three; this is a mystery
unique to Heshvan. No other month can claim it.
