Wallover Oil Acquires Commonwealth Oil

Wallover Oil Co., Strongsville, Ohio, a manufacturer of metalworking fluids and industrial lubricants, has acquired Commonwealth Oil of Harrow, Ontario, Canada.

Founded in 1978, Commonwealth Oil has made substantial inroads into the metalworking fluid market. In particular, significant success has been achieved in the EDM and tubing forming segments, according to the company.

Wallover President Eric Kielts commented, "We are excited to add a company like Commonwealth Oil to our growing family. Its first rate facility and strong Canadian presence will help us as we continue to expand our North American metalworking business."

Wallover plans to keep the Commonwealth operation intact, retaining all Commonwealth employees and distributors.

"The well-respected Commonwealth brand and the Canadian market are important to our plans moving forward. We intend to continue to invest in both," noted Mr. Kielts.

Since its launch on November 23, 2011, LubeXChange announced close to $5 Million in new lubricant, petroleum equipment, automotive chemical and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) product listings from sellers across the U.S.

For those not familiar with LubeXChange.com, it is an innovative company that blends the best of e-commerce and traditional sales to connect buyers and sellers in the lubricants market.
