CITGO Ups Price on Private Label Brands

CITGO announced a price increase for its private label/MileMaster of $0.50 a gallon for conventional bulk, $0.60 a gallon for conventional packaged lubricants, and $0.80 a gallon for synthetics. These increases are effective May 20, 2011.

Price Increase Updates

Advanced Lubrication Specialties: As noted in the April 19th issue of JobbersWorld, Advanced Lubrication Specialties (ALS) announced a price increase. Whereas JW reported the increase was $0.60 a gallon, ALS corrected its original announcement. Instead of $0.60 a gallon, their correction states conventional and synthetic blends will increase by $0.50 a gallon. Its price on full synthetics will increase by $0.80 a gallon. These increases are effective May 9, 2011. Smitty's Supply: Smitty's Supply revised the allocation start date and TVA stop date and synthetic increase. The revisions are as follows: Orders are limited to 50% of average monthly purchases based on the previous 12 months history. This allocation will be strictly enforced starting with orders placed 4/11/11. Freight discounts or TVA'S will be discontinued on orders placed in April. Bulk and packaged synthetic lubricants will increase $0.80 gallon. |
