Shell Also Announced a Price Increase

UPDATE: In addition to the news JobbersWorld published earlier this morning about Chevron's announcement that it will increase the price of its lubricating oils, gear lubes and greases by 9% effective April 18, 2011, Shell also announced on Friday of last week it will increase prices on lubricants by up to 9% effective April 18th.

ARG Announces Increase |
The American Refining Group (ARG) announced it will increase the prices for motor oil, ATF, gear lubes, greases and industrial lubricants by up to 12%. The increase is effective March 28, 2011. It applies to all private label, ubranded and other house brands sold by ARG. |
Advanced Lubrication Specialties Also Moves Price |
Advanced Lubrication Specialties announced a price increase of $0.60 a gallon on conventional and synthetic blend lubricants. The price of its full synthetic lubricants will move up $0.80 a gallon. Greases will move up by $0.08 a pound. This increase is effective March 21, 2011.

Nippon Oil USA Bumps up Prices

Nippon Oil USA announced it will increase the price of its ENEOS Brand of lubricants supplied in the US. The increase is effective April 1, 2011.
