A Message from your Host,

When people ask me where I get all my energy, and how I manage to handle all the details in my busy life, my first reaction is to laugh and think, "Surely, they're not talking about ME!"

The truth is, I do have tons of energy, and I do manage to handle a very busy and complex life. The answer?  I work hard at it.  Anything that looks easy rarely is!  If it's easy today, tomorrow can be a different story.   Life is about finding and sustaining your joy despite your changing circumstances...and believe me, circumstances always change.  You can count on it.   Each day is a gift that I am determined to make the best of every moment.  It's not something that just happens.  Every day, I plan my tasks, set my intentions for interactions with others, and focus on achieving one new personal goal for that day.

In addition to my constant positive attitude and deep spiritual faith, another key to my daily joy is in finding creative ways to complete my work tasks in conjunction with other areas of my life.  For example, on days spent in my office, my faithful yellow Lab rests at my feet. Work on client sites around the city or country brings me the opportunity to connect with friends or visit areas of personal interest (usually museums, gardens, or antique shops) after the work day is done. This method of combining work with other areas of my life is what I call "blending"...not balance.  Balance to me means that I'm just a breath away from falling. Blending means that at any given time, I combine as much or as little as I want (or can) of any life and work areas, and, in any amount, it's always a GREAT combination.

This retreat is dedicated to helping you discover ways to release stress, discover joy, and blend your own work/life areas in creative, fun, energizing, empowering, and yes.... healing ways.

There's so much to share and learn!

Feng Shui: You are the Attractor Factor with          Katherine Ashby
If everything is energy, anything is possible. Are you open to a holistic approach for expanding your capacity to receive an abundance of whatever your heart desires? What would it be like living in a house that is so perfect for you that it makes your life easier? It's possible with feng shui, the Chinese art of placement.

The energy of your wardrobe should match your energy vibration-your Spirit.  Knowing how to dress your Spirit as well as your body has a significant affect on what and who you attract.  Putting a zip in your personal style helps you to understand and love yourself and to relate to others more authentically, dynamically and totally through energy.

Creative expression offers itself as the soul's outlet for healing. It is an act of the spirit and is available to each us without exception or limitation. You need only to give yourself permission to explore and play with an open "wild" heart - the place inside you that longs to be set free.

Connect with your innate creativity in an intuitive process of artmaking to create a collage in honor of your experience of well-being. Kay Kemp of Wild Heart Art will guide and support you  in your creative journey.
