 Summer $1.00 Sale!
Buy One Of These Bottles & Get the 2nd Bottle, Same Brand for $1.00
- 2006 Brassfield, Pinot Noir, High Serenity Ranch, 88 pts., Wine Spectator; $19.00: The aromas of fresh baked cherry pie exude from the glass along with polished nuances of rhubarb, cinnamon, toasted almonds and vanilla. Bright cherry flavors, and a hint of toasted oak, open up to a soft mouth-feel and a velvety texture from the delicate balance of tannin and acid. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2005 Sebastiani, Proprietary Blend, Secolo, Sonoma County $35.00: It is a very dark purple color and it opens with a spicy blueberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with spicy blueberry flavors and some noted acidity. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger slightly. This is a wine that would go best with food such as prime rib. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2006 Ramey, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 92 pts., Tanzer; $59.00: "Bright ruby. Cherry and red berry aromas are complicated by dried rose, tobacco and fresh herbs. Juicy and intense, with gently sweet red and dark berry flavors and slow-mounting tannins. Becomes more floral with air and finishes with impressive clarity and spicy persistence. Eighty percent of the vines that provided this fruit are planted on steep hillsides, Ramey told me." Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2004 Ciacci, Piccolomini, d'Aragona, Sant' Antimo Favius, Syrah, Tuscany, 91 pts., Wine Spectator; $49.00: Suave and velvety with vibrant fruit character, enticing perfume and very supple tannins. Village Wine Cellar - Where we keep our entire store at a constant 64 degrees From Parker's Wine Buyers Guide No 7 by Robert M. Parker, Jr. is this quote from the introduction, How to Store Wine, page 9:
"If you can somehow get the temperature down to 65 degrees Farenheight or below, you will never have to worry about the condition of your wines."
Here at the Village Wine Cellar we proudly keep we proudly keep our ENTIRE store a constant "64 degrees temperature controlled," 365 days a year, hence Village Wine Cellar. This separates our store from all others as temperature is vital to the keeping wine from being spoiled. Proper storage is crucial to keeping the wine's integrity and quality from being compromised. As you are aware, all too often, someone has purchased a bottle of wine elsewhere only to find that their purchase is ruined due to the store temperature was too warm. This will never happen at Village Wine Cellar. |
