 Spring $1.00 Sale!
Buy One Of These Bottles & Get the 2nd Bottle,
Same Brand for $1.00
- 2006 MacRostie Chardonnay, Wildcat Mountain Vineyard, Sonoma Coast, 93 pts., Wine Spectator; $39.00: Classic pale straw in color, with enticing aromas of clover honey and ripe pineapple. On the palate, it offers appealing tropical fruit, citrus, and spiced baked apple flavors. Dry and mouthfilling, this Chardonnay possesses sufficient structure to age for a few years, but is delicious now. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2005 Brassfield, Merlot, High Serenity Ranch, High Valley; $19.00: Smells cherry cobbler and new leather. On the palate it's soft and delicate with hints of coriander and sage to support the fruit. Small amounts of cabernet franc and petit verdot are added for structure and color. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2005 Brassfield, Zinfandel, Round Mountain Volcano, High Valley; $19.00: 8% Syrah. This well-ripened bottling puts a good first foot forward with a nice mix of ripe berries and sweet oak in its chocolate-tinged aromas, and it follows with like-minded flavors of moderate depth. It is lightly tannic and fights with a bit of back-palate heat, but it hangs on to fruit at the finish and wins the nod of endorsement. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2005 Kendall Jackson, Syrah, Alisos Hills, Santa Barbara County, 94 pts., Wine Enthusiast; $50.00: "An extraordinarily rich, complex and satisfying Syrah. It's massive in blackberry, pepper, cola, spice and smoky oak flavors. Yet for all the size, it never loses its sense of balance and elegance. This low production wine comes from the Los Alamos region of Santa Barbara, a likely future appellation in its own right." Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
- 2006 Pahlmeyer, Proprietary Red, Napa Valley, 95 pts., Parker; $164.00: "Most of the fruit comes from the Stagecoach Vineyard and the Waters Ranch. Sweet, smoky, meaty aromas interwoven with melted asphalt, camphor, blackberry, cassis, and charcoal scents emerge from the complex aromatics. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, displaying sweet tannin, a concentrated mouthfeel, and a long, heady finish with substantial fruit, glycerin, and extract. It should drink beautifully for 20+ years." Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
This $1.00 purchase only applies to the 2nd bottle. No other discounts allowed. All sales final. No returns or exchanges. Offer good March 21st - March 27th. Offer good while supplies last. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Village Wine Cellar - Where we keep our entire store at a constant 64 degrees From Parker's Wine Buyers Guide No 7 by Robert M. Parker, Jr. is this quote from the introduction, How to Store Wine, page 9:
"If you can somehow get the temperature down to 65 degrees Farenheight or below, you will never have to worry about the condition of your wines."
Here at the Village Wine Cellar we proudly keep we proudly keep our ENTIRE store a constant "64 degrees temperature controlled," 365 days a year, hence Village Wine Cellar. This separates our store from all others as temperature is vital to the keeping wine from being spoiled. Proper storage is crucial to keeping the wine's integrity and quality from being compromised. As you are aware, all too often, someone has purchased a bottle of wine elsewhere only to find that their purchase is ruined due to the store temperature was too warm. This will never happen at Village Wine Cellar. |
