Buy One Of These Bottles & Get the 2nd Bottle,

Same Brand for $1.00

  • 2007 Green Truck, Zinfandel, Mendocino County; Was $17.00, Now $14.00: "This terrific, food-friendly wine exhibits wild berry aromas and follows through with similar brambly berry and cracked
pepper flavors." Charlie Tsegeletos, Winemaker. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
  • 2004 Kendall Jackson, Merlot, Bennett Valley, Sonoma County, 93 pts., Wine Enthusiast; $39.00: "This wine revived my faith in Merlot. I liked the rich purple color and intense berry redolence. It's full bodied, smooth, and well balanced on the palate. It had a dry prolonged finish which I like." Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
  • 2006 Sonoma-Cutrer, Pinot Noir, Estate, Sonoma Coast; $42.00: Winemaker Notes - "Shows the intense ruby red color we've come to expect from our estate-grown fruit. This wine is not shy. Aromas of black cherry and currants leap from the glass, quickly followed by notes of cedar and allspice. A strong floral component marries the fruit bouquet, while leaving room for the subtle influence of the new French oak..." Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
  • 2005 Robert Stemmler, Pinot Noir, Ferguson Block, Carneros, 93 pts., Connoisseur's Guide; $46.00: Magical nuances of fresh raspberries and minerals. Expansive on the palate with red fruit, carbon and briar. There is a depth that only comes from old vines...this wine will age gracefully. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
  • 2006 Vine Hill, Pinot Noir, Cumbre, Hicks Family, Santa Cruz, 94 pts., Wine Enthusiast; Was $60.00, Now $50.00: Ripe cherry scents with a background note of strawberry jam and a mild woodsy edge are nicely filled out by creme brulee richness. Fairly full and reasonably open at entry almost to the point of fleshiness, the wine turns towards a tougher quality from mid-palate to finish and falls a bit short of its mates in overall charm. Get the 2nd bottle for $1.00!
This $1.00 purchase only applies to the 2nd bottle. No other discounts allowed. All sales final. No returns or exchanges. Offer good  February 28th - March 6th. Offer good while supplies last. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Village Wine Cellar Features!
Rubicon Estate, Rutherford
Napa Valley
  • 2008 Blancaneaux; $49.00: "Full-bodied yet elegant on the palate, our 2008 Blancaneaux offers a beautiful perfume of lychee, pears and spice. There are no oak tones on Blancaneaux, as it never sees oak, but there is the creamy texture and nuances of cloves and confections from aging on the lees. Juicy flavors of peach and pineapple layer

nicely with the more intriguing notes of honeysuckle, minerals and citrus, making this wine intensely rich yet impeccably balanced and bright."

  • 2006 Zinfandel, Edizione, Pennino, 92 pts., Wine News; $45.50:  Edizione Pennino Zinfandel is an elegant and serious Zinfandel with briar and deep spice aromas. The palate is marked by ripe, unctuous, delicious fruit flavors of raspberry and blackberry with hints of cranberry, black pepper and cola. It's easy to drink now but can be cellared for 8 to 10 years.
  • 2007 Zinfandel, Edizione, Pennino, 94 pts., Wine Enthusiast; $45.50: "Demonstrates intense aromatics of juicy dark fruit, allspice, and sweet cigar smoke. With a beautifully rich palate and supple texture, dazzling flavors of wild berries, black cherries, raspberries, cloves and dark chocolate build and broaden on the finish."
  • 2006 Merlot; $48.00: The 2006 Estate Merlot is round and pleasing, with a blazing ruby-violet hue and rich color. Aromas of classic dark cherries and plums prevail, as do notes of cedar and allspice. The palate is very dense and coating, laced with fine, supple tannins and spicy ripe fruit impressions, which grow even more intense on the finish.
  • 2005 Cabernet Franc; $52.00: Its plush palate resonates with rich, ripe blackberry flavors and intriguing spice accents. Soft, silky tannins add to the wine's elegance. Pungent, sweet scent of allspice, clove, tobacco leaves and red cherries.
  • 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, CASK, 95 pts., Wine Enthusiast; $65.00: The 2007 CASK Cabernet is a striking beauty. An exotic perfume of cassis, flowers, spice, and oak is followed by luscious flavors of red cherries, currants, and wild blackberries.  The supple tannins and rich core of fruit let you indulge now; however, the impeccable structure will allow CASK to age for many years to come. It is a classic representation of Rutherford Cabernet.
  • 2006 Rubicon, 95 pts., Connoisseur's Guide; $150.00: "Our 2006 Rubicon reflects the extended growing conditions of the vintage, displaying an elegant lusciousness of flavor as well as a long, round finish. The harmonious character of the vintage is augmented by the more classic impression of weight and fresh precision of the fruit. It is a vintage that offers much complexity and will repay aging, but is already balanced and integrated."

Village Wine Cellar - Where we keep our entire store at a constant 64 degrees

From Parker's Wine Buyers Guide No 7 by Robert M. Parker, Jr.  is this quote from the introduction, How to Store Wine, page 9:

"If you can somehow get the temperature down to 65 degrees Farenheight or below, you will never have to worry about the condition of your wines."

Here at the Village Wine Cellar we proudly keep  we proudly keep our ENTIRE store a constant "64 degrees temperature controlled," 365 days a year, hence Village Wine Cellar.

This separates our store from all others as temperature is vital to the keeping wine from being spoiled.  Proper storage is crucial to keeping the wine's integrity and quality from being compromised.  As you are aware,  all too often, someone has purchased a bottle of wine elsewhere only to find that their purchase is ruined due to the store temperature was too warm.  This will never happen at Village Wine Cellar.
