This is the
Chamber's top fundraising event for the year. This event installs the
new Chamber Chairman of the Board, and also the new Board of Directors.
With top business and political leaders of both Santa Monica and
California in attendance, it is definitely a night not to be missed.

Senator Pavley to Visit Chamber
The day after next week's Installation Dinner, Senator Fran Pavley will meet in person with the Chamber's Government Affairs
Committee to discuss AB 32, also known as the Global Warming Solutions Act.
Signed into law by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2006, AB 32
has directed the California Air Resources Board to begin developing discrete
early actions to reduce greenhouse gases while also preparing a scoping plan to
identify how to best 1990 emission levels by 2020. The reduction measures to
meet this target are to be adopted by the start of 2011.
