MARDI GRAS PUB CRAWL ...

On Feb. 11, eighteen buses safely transport revelers to bars and restaurants around the Lake of the Ozarks area for a night of fun, entertainment and great food at the 11th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl. Buses start at 4 p.m. and the cost for a ride on the shuttles is $5 per person. Bus fee includes drop off and pick up at participating hotels and motels. BEATLEMANIA AT THE LAKE...

Liverpool LegendsLiverpool Legends, the world's premier Beatles tribute band, will invade Osage Beach's Main Street Music Hall (at the Landing on Main Street) for the fourth straight year. The Legends are scheduled for two performances at the Music Hall - one on Friday, March 2 and another on Saturday, March 3. Shows start at 8 p.m. on both evenings. Come together to watch as the Liverpool Legends take you on a Magical Mystery Tour through the Beatles' entire career, as well as the solo work of John, Paul, George and Ringo. The tribute band was hand-picked by Louise Harrison (George Harrison's sister) and has been heralded by notables such as former President Bill Clinton, Beatles lead singer Sir Paul McCartney, Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer and former St. Louis Cardinals skipper Tony LaRussa. Tickets are available from the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau. Premium seats are $30 for adults and children; regular reserved seating is $25 for adults and $20 for children. POLAR ICE, ICE BABY...

Join costumed sub-zero heroes as they run into frigid waters for charity or merely be an on-shore witness to all the chilly insanity by cheering on your friends during the

Polar Plunge. The unique event is set for Feb. 25 at Lake of the Ozarks State Park's Grand Glaize Beach in Osage Beach. Featuring wild costumes, great music and a ton of laughs, the Plunge is all about fun and fundraising for local athletes competing in the Special Olympics. CAN YOU HANDLE THE "CHILL?"...

Brave the elements for an ultimate test of endurance and skill in the Bonk Hard Chill adventure race on Feb. 18 at Ha Ha Tonka State Park near Camdenton. This Heartland Adventure Race Series event, sponsored by Bonk Hard Racing, is a thrilling 7-13 hour adventure race consisting of mountain biking, paddling, running, trekking and orienteering through the beautiful scenery of the Lake of the Ozarks.
