THE NINTH ANNUAL LAURIE LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE
Laurie's annual Christmas parade of lighted floats travels up Highway 5 (Main St.) from Central Bank to the Laurie Mall, bringing joy to all who line the route. The parade begins at 6 p.m. Santa will travel the length of the parade to the mall in his sleigh and will visit with all the boys and girls. TAN-TAR-A RESORT'S WINTER HOLIDAY FESTIVAL
Visitors to Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach Nov. 24- 26 can get in the spirit during its Winter Holiday Festival, featuring a Thanksgiving Day Buffet (reservations are required), Bonfire sing-a-longs, a visit with Santa, a comedy hypnosis show with Brian Powers, cosmic bowling and plenty of activities and crafts for the kids. There also are scheduled tram tours of Tan-Tar-A's brilliant holiday lights display for guests Nov. 25 and 26.
