THE NINTH ANNUAL LAURIE LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE
Laurie's annual Christmas parade of lighted floats travels up Highway 5 (Main St.) from Central Bank to the Laurie Mall, bringing joy to all who line the route. The parade begins at 6 p.m. Santa will travel the length of the parade to the mall in his sleigh and will visit with all the boys and girls. TAN-TAR-A RESORT'S WINTER HOLIDAY FESTIVAL
Visitors to Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach Nov. 24- 26 can get in the spirit during its Winter Holiday Festival, featuring a Thanksgiving Day Buffet (reservations are required), Bonfire sing-a-longs, a visit with Santa, a comedy hypnosis show with Brian Powers, cosmic bowling and plenty of activities and crafts for the kids. The Shrine of St. Patrick's Festival of Lights

For the seventh straight season, the city of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights from Nov. 27-Jan. 1. The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community. The Unity Circle of Lights is located at the junction of Highways 5 and 52 and will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. The park is open from dark until midnight and admission is free.
