Festival Opera is producing a new opera pastiche, based on the exploration of what it means to be judged based on our appearance -- particularly if an individual has a visible affliction or disability. What is the impact of compassion and of acceptance, especially self-acceptance? These fibers are woven throughout the first act of About Face - an opera experience. The production features soprano Heidi Moss,
Eugene Brancoveanu

2013 Season Chorus Auditions
"Fuoco di Gioia!" It's Otello Next Season

   From chorus master James Toland:
Next summer's production will be the astonishing masterwork of Giuseppe Verdi and Arrigo Boito, Otello. The chorus forces required for this opera are enormous -- both vocally and physically demanding.
