Board Launches New Challenge
$25,000 Offered to Raise Matching Funds

thermometer 1 Festival Opera is making substantial headway in getting back on solid financial footing, and in connection with the announcement of 2013 season productions, the board of directors is launching the next step: a fall challenge of $25,000 to raise a matching amount to bring in a total of $50,000.
   The campaign was
spearheaded by former board chair James Bell and his wife, Bonnie. The Bells kicked off the campaign with a $10,000 donation that was augmented by the current board of directors led by chair, Susie Hanson.

Please, will you help?
For a limited time, the board will match each dollar you contribute to Festival Opera -- doubling the impact of your gift. This helps us raise much-needed funds. Will you consider helping us meet the challenge with a donation?
Ticket sales alone don't cover the costs of producing an opera, and even with foundation and corporate donations, we still need a healthy dose of community support.
Please help us ensure that exciting opera continues to find a home in the East Bay.
