Shipments arriving into Sydney from Asia and the Middle East will now be assessed a recovery surcharge until further notice.  Effective November 15, 2011, the Sydney port is now subject to this recovery surcharge due to vessel delays, port omissions, and the severe equipment imbalance the congestion creates.
