In the project featured here, the "before" kitchen was walled-in and separated from the family room, making it seem dark, cramped and isolated. Removing the wall opened up the space, giving it a bright and airy feel. This change also created room for a convenient island with a raised eating bar. A garden window brings additional light into the room and allows the homeowner to enjoy her indoor plants. Attractive new wood cabinetry now extends to the ceiling, offering additional storage space. Interior cabinetry storage solutions, carefully chosen to fit the needs of the homeowner, also make a big impact on functionality.


New stainless steel appliances, tile backsplash and sleek granite countertops give the "after" kitchen a stylish appearance. The refrigerator has been placed closer to the sink and range to improve the work triangle. A swirling contemporary light fixture over the island provides task lighting while adding design flair to the room. A combination of hardwood and porcelain tile on the floor is a lovely upgrade from the original sheet vinyl.

Without adding to the original footprint of the home, this kitchen was totally transformed!

You provide a list of projects; we will complete as many as possible -- efficiently and professionally -- in the time purchased. If there are items we can't get to within the timeframe you have purchased, you can move them to the top of the list the next time we come out.
