Happy Thanksgiving Day!
Today is the day when so many take time to reflect on the many blessings God has bestowed upon us (would be better if we counted them every day!). All too often we get caught up focusing on the things we do not have instead of recognizing all that we do have. Helen Steiner Rice wrote "Stop wishing for things you complain you have not and start making the best of all that you've got." God tells us in His Word that even the birds don't worry about what they will eat or where they will sleep because He meets their needs....how much more do you think our Father in Heaven loves us and will He not make sure that our needs are met?
As you spend time eating with your family, please take time to let God know how grateful you are. Not just for your food, but for your health, friends that love you, family, our armed forces fighting to keep us safe, and for His greatest gift to us, Jesus.
I am so very thankful for the amazing love I have for my boys (my husband is included in this boy comment! LOL), and I am so thankful for you. I do not ever take it lightly the trust you have shown me. I am very aware that you have choices in places you can go to have your makeup done, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your life and for allowing me to perform procedures on you. This business is not only enjoyable for me, but your presence is such a blessing in my life. My days are sweet because of the quality time I get to spend with you.
So, when I take inventory of my blessings, not just today but all days, I count you as one of the many.
