Spring is quickly approaching! We hear birds singing in the morning as the sun rises, the time change has occurred, and Easter has come and gone! What a glorious time to reflect on the natural beauty that surrounds us on this Earth, in our relationships with friends and family and in the beauty that resides in us all.

~Feeding Your Spirit~
Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him."
So often you hear people say that they are nice and that they do good deeds; surely that must be pleasing to God. However, we learn in Hebrews that without Faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. It doesn't matter how many homeless people you feed, how many kind gestures you perform, or even how many times you attend church in a week, if you do not have Faith, you are not pleasing God. Faith is simply BELIEVING God at His word. BELIEVING that what He will do what He said He would do. Faith is STILL BELIEVING in what the Bible says, even when what you see at the moment, in the natural , does not line up with God's promises. God is simply looking for His people to trust in His Word. He will meet you where your Faith is. If you BELIEVE God is able to do something in your life, as long as it is in line with what the Bible says, He is honor bound to do it for you. If you BELIEVE He can only partially do something, then He will only partially do it. Your Faith is a muscle. Exercise it daily so that you may be strong in your Faith!

~ Procedure Highlight ~
Permanent lip color after 5 years! |
This included photo is of one of our many clients who has had permanent lip color application. Her last application was 5 years ago! Her results are not unusual. There are several contributing factors which enable someone to maintain good color. It all begins with the condition of the lip tissue when the procedure is performed. Clients with well hydrated, moist lips when they come in for their appointments, can expect to retain allot of color once their procedure is healed. Dry lips will peel more during the healing process, and when the lip tissue is peeling, it's taking pigment particles with it resulting in less than desirable results. Prolonged care of your lips can be achieved by applying moisturizers to your lips, and using sun protection with a minimum of SPF 45.
So take care of your lips and your lips will take care of you. |

 Q: Does permanent makeup hurt?
A: It doesn't have to. Your comfort level depends on several things. The method of application (hand or machine), the strength of the topicals used to anesthetize (numb) the area, your body chemistry, and what is in your body when you have the procedure done all affect your comfort level. Certain vitamins, medications, as well as foods and beverages containing potassium and caffeine, all play a part in your comfort during your procedure. All of these pre-procedure items are covered, in detail, during a consultation prior to our procedure so you can prepare.

The show aired on April 17 on the HGTV Network...channel 61 for Brighthouse subscribers.
