Finger Foods for the Annual General Meeting This Sunday
 This coming Sunday, February 12th, will be our Annual General Meeting. We are asking those planning to come to bring some kind of finger food to serve. We will take a small break after the service and being the meeting at 12 noon.

Transition/Creation Team News
The Transition/Creation team has been meeting with the intention of working together to create a vision for Unity in the Gold Country Spiritual Center for 2012 and beyond. The creation process acknowledges each individual contribution and at the same time brings into focus a collective vision for the our future as we evolve as a Spiritual Center. This Sunday, Rev. Song Of The Prophet
 Tomorrow, Friday, February 10th at 7pmMark Haskett: "Song of the Prophet": A musical rendition of Kahlil Gibran's poem, "The Prophet". If you liked the book, "The Prophet" by Kahil Gibran, you will enjoy this rendition of the book put to music. This is a very moving presentation and sure to stir you soul.
Tickets are $15 and are on sale in the Bookstore and at Briar Patch, (dessert included).

Hospitality House Dinner - We need signups
It is time to sign up once again to assist at this months Hospitality House Dinner. The dinner for this month is to be held on Sunday, February 19th, beginning at 5 PM. If you are able to assist setting up the hall, serving dinner, clean up, or just to fix a dish for the evening, please sign up on the list on the Information Table. Thank you to everyone who assists the Center in serving the dinners.

Watch for information about our next night out. We will be on board in March with a fun and interesting time for all.
February's Unity theme is Divine Order. Expect the children's classes to have interesting and relevant discussions, crafts, and activities. There will be a new song to sing; bring the kids and grandchildren for a wonderful hour together!

Change for Change: Hospitality House Bus Passes
Through your generous donations we are able to gift many different organizations throughout the year. The months of January and February have been designated to have Hospitality House receive monies for bus passes for the residents. Please put your extra change into the Change For Change "piggy bank" on the Information Table. All your gifts are well appreciated!
Foodbank
Additionally, did you know that for every actual dollar bill donated to the Foodbank they are able to buy $3 worth of food from food distributors that they have special access to. You might want to consider donating money to them rather than actual food items since the money you would spend to buy those items would buy three times the food in the hands of the Foodbank purchasers.

CRV Recycling
If you are willing to help gather up the "Cash Redemption Value" recycling that comes in to the Center, and take it in to redeem for cash for us, please sign up for one of the months listed. The signup list is on the table by the double doors leading to the sanctuary. Don't want to bring all your recycling in to us, but would still like the Center to receive the monetary gift? No problem. We have an account with Waste Management at the Recycling Center, so just ask that the monies be credited to the account of Unity in the Gold Country. Thank you for thinking of us in this small way.
