Mini CORI-FLOW™

Mini+ValveBronkhorst USA Inc. presents a technological breakthrough in Coriolis mass flow measurement and control: the mini CORI-FLOW™ series, compact and cost-effective Coriolis Mass Flow Meters/Controllers for accurate measurement and control of (very) low flow rates; from 400 mg/h up to 30 kg/h.

The unique design of the miniature Coriolis sensor features superior response time and high accuracy, irrespective of changing operating conditions with regard to pressure, temperature, density, conductivity and viscosity.

Mini meterSuitable for both liquid and gas flow applications and capable of bi-directional measurement, the instruments are equipped with robust IP65 weatherproof housing and available with optional approval for use in hazardous areas (ATEX Category 3 Zone 2).

Mini CORI-FLOW™ offers integrated PID control and close-coupled control valves or pumps, thus constituting very compact Coriolis mass flow control loops.

The instruments feature fluid temperature and density as secondary digital outputs.

Winter Trivia

Idea

As you gather together with family and friends this holiday season you can appear as the cleverest of the bunch if you share these interesting facts.

* The largest iceberg ever recorded worldwide was 207 miles long and 62 miles wide.

* "Hoar" is a type of frost formed by flat frozen crystals.

*Hail is a chunk or stone of ice dropped from a thunderstorm. Sleet is frozen rain. Freezing rain is liquid rain that freezes to a surface such as the road or a tree.

* El Nino refers to a warming of the Pacific Equatorial waters and a slackening of the Trade Winds over those waters. The name originates from Peru.  They named it "El Nino" after the child, Jesus Christ, giving it a religious connotation because it seemed to occur around Christmas time.

 * Blizzard conditions are winds greater than 35 miles per hour with blowing snow.

* There are six sides on a snow flake.

* In the Middle Ages most European countries used the Julian calendar and observed New Year's Day on March 25, called Annunciation Day and celebrated as the occasion on which it was revealed to Mary that she would give birth to the Son of God.

* Desmond Hallmark had a surplus of cards left over from Arbor Day depicting a fir tree and decided to unload them by the box by simply printing Merry Christmas across the trees in red ink.
