Mini CORI-FLOW®

Mini+ValveBronkhorst USA Inc. presents a technological breakthrough in Coriolis mass flow measurement and control: the mini CORI-FLOW® series, compact and cost-effective Coriolis Mass Flow Meters/Controllers for accurate measurement and control of (very) low flow rates; from 400 mg/h up to 30 kg/h.

Mini meterThe unique design of the miniature Coriolis sensor features superior response time and high accuracy, irrespective of changing operating conditions with regard to pressure, temperature, density, conductivity and viscosity. Suitable for both liquid and gas flow applications and capable of bi-directional measurement, the instruments are equipped with robust IP65 weatherproof housing and available with optional approval for use in hazardous areas (ATEX Category 3 Zone 2).

Mini Cori and Tuthill PumpMini CORI-FLOW® offers integrated PID control and close-coupled control valves or pumps, thus constituting very compact Coriolis mass flow control loops.

Mini CORI-FLOW® features state-of-the-art digital technology, offering standard analogue and RS-232 communication, optional fieldbus interfaces and additional functions such as alarms, totalizer (to measure fluid consumption) and batch dosing. The instruments feature fluid temperature and density as secondary digital outputs.

Typical applications include research laboratories, pilot plant, semiconductor and fuel cell processing, food and pharmaceutical industries, analytical installations, micro-reactors, surface technology and anywhere requiring direct mass flow measurement, independent of fluid properties.

Update to the BRIGHT Display

BRIGHT ColorThe BRIGHT has been given a fresh, new look by including a 1.8 inch color TFT screen with wide angle visibility. Some cost options are now included as standard, for example the mounting accessories for tube, panel, or wall mounting will now always be included. Equally important though is the fact that the functionalities, menu structure, compact and stylish design remain unchanged.

The R/C-modules offer the users of Bronkhorst Mass Flow Meters/Controllers the possibility of local indication and operation: flow-rate in actual values or percentage, selection of various fluids, setpoint adjustment, counter function and alarms.

ChemShow in November

201 Chem Show

Bronkhorst USA will be exhibiting at the 2011 ChemShow in New York, NY.  We will have several dynamic demonstration examples of our Coriolis products.

We will be joined by one of the Bronkhorst Cori-Tech Application Engineers who will be on hand to discuss your application challenges.

Interface with LabVIEW

Idea

LabVIEW, from National Instruments, is a graphical programming environment used by millions of engineers and scientists to develop sophisticated measurement, test, and control systems using intuitive graphical icons and wires that resemble a flowchart.

Mass Flow Meters and Controllers from Bronkhorst USA can be integrated into the LabVIEW environment.  The path for the interface to LabVIEW is through the Bronkhorst Flowbus protocol.  There are three means of communication that can be used to access Flowbus; RS232 ASCII strings, dll, and DDE.

Of the three means of accessing Flowbus using the Bronkhorst DDE Server is the easiest and most direct way to integrate instruments from Bronkhorst USA into the LabVIEW environment.
