Welcome to the Table!
Just returning from New Orleans!!!!!!!!! What a great experience. Spent five days there with EPTA (Event Pros Take Action). We completely painted, furnished, and decorated two homes. We had welcome home ribbon cuttings at the Rose and the Carriere residences. Seven years after Katrina, they are finally back in their homes. It was such a pleasure to feel the new sense of pride these home owners displayed. In addition to these two homes, we dropped off dishes, glasses, and flatware to another dozen homes in need. Of the over 50 EPTA members, I was joined by Jenna Amara, David Palermo and Scott Axtel from Rentals Unlimited.
EPTA is a charitable organization that lets special events professionals give back to those in need. Our endeavors focus on relief efforts for communities that have experienced a natural disaster and are in the process of recovering from substantial loss and rebuilding communities. Professionals from The Special Events Industry throughout the USA have come together in an unprecedented undertaking: a merging all of their talents and products, in an all-out effort to create dramatic results for the communities it aims to impact.
For more inforamtion or to get involved, please visit EPTA at http://eventprostakeaction.org

Style Me by DaVeed
So Rentals Unlimited has made it to July, through college graduations and alumni weekends, spring wedding season and some unseasonably hot weather. The time we spent this winter working on new systems and training our team has helped us work smarter and more efficiently. I hope as our customer you are seeing that.
I spent a bit of time on airplanes these past several months going back and forth to the Midwest. I noticed some trends (No, NOT from being in the Midwest) when I had time to look through fashion and lifestyle magazines on the planes. What I have noticed is that monochromatic themes are still very much in style, but what is hot is mixing in lots and lots of different textures and patterns. I also noticed a lot of neutral pallettes such as tans and taupes, black and grays, and whites and ivories. The great thing is that one bright vibrant color is added to those neutral shades. Lemon yellow with gray tones, cherry red with tan shades, and turquoise with whites. I just don't know if red will translate to the wedding market.
Looking for Designers! I am so excited that the AFR and Rentals Unlimited Road Show is back in August! I had such great time last year creating the four seasons at the Stateroom. This year the event is at The Revere Hotel which means a bigger space! I am looking for any Designers that might be interested in showcasing their skills by assisting us in creating the showcase. We are traveling to different Islands this year. This promises to be another great marketing and networking event! Last year we had over 400 event professionals attend! Just let me know if you are interested!
Green...I am sure you have noticed we are trying our best to be green...not just in color or name. We love to recycle, so please send back any hangers, packing foam, or other materials from your order and we will reuse, repurpose or recycle them.
