 Welcome to the Table! I can't believe that 2011 has flown by...... As we wind down, I would like to say thank you to all our customers and friends that have supported this past year. Also, I would be remiss if I didn't say a hearty thanks to our team, from each and every department; sales, administration, dispatch, loading, equipment.... You all truly "make it happen". As we move into 2012, we immediately head to The Special Event where we will be teaching a course "4 Weddings and a Budget, chapter 2", competing for the "Table Top Competition", and in the running for a Gala Award. Then in February off to Event Solutions / Catersource where we have been nominated for "Rental Company of the Year".
Once again, thank you to all our past partners and looking forward to many new alliances in 2012. Happy Holidays!

Are you making the trip to Tampa for TSE 2012? You should! The Rentals Unlimited team is proud to be presenting a class again this year. We bring you "Four Parties and a Budget, Chapter 2". Come learn about making budgets work, regardless of the type of event. We'll also be sharing insider tips on how to get the look of a high end event, without breaking your client's bank. As a part of The Special Event Show, Rentals Unlimited has been nominated for a Gala Award. These awards are voted on by the Special Events Magazine Advisory Board. We are very excited to have made it as a finalist, and will keep you posted as to the outcome!

Rentals Unlimited is proud to have been named a finalist for the 2012 Event Solutions Spotlight Awards as "Rental Company of the Year." We could not have gotten this nod without the support of so many of you - all of our clients give us the opportunity to participate in great events. The winners are chosen based on popular vote and merit. Popular votes are tallied via an online voting web site, and merit is judged by the esteemed Event Solutions Advisory Board. We will be reaching out to you all soon with details on voting. Every vote counts and we appreciate your support!

This month I am not going to carry on about design ideas. This month is special because I am inviting you all to participate in our 2012 Photo Contest for a chance to win $1,500 worth of free rentals!
Here is how it is going to work:
- Send us your photos! We are looking for photos that showcase how you use our products for your events. The more products from our inventory featured in the photo, the better! We only ask that you do not include your company name anywhere on the images for judging purposes. Digital, high resolution files can be sent to us on disk to:
2012 Photo Contest c/o David Price 45aa Tosca Drive Stoughton, MA 02072 Pictures under 10MB can be sent via email to me at dprice@rentals-unlimited.net. Files over 10MB can be sent using a service like You Send It - www.yousendit.com.
- Be sure to include in a separate file or on the disk:
- photographer information for photo credit - your company name - other participating vendors for proper credit if the photo is used for marketing or other print materials (e.g. florists, planner, designer, etc.)
- All photos must be received by Friday, January 20th.
- The photos will be judged by three impartial parties: some West Coast event industry friends and partners who wouldn't be able to recognize the events or the vendors involved by the pictures alone.
- The winner will be announced on Tuesday, January 31st.
Here is the fine print:
Only one winner will be chosen. $1,500 credit toward regular price retail rental orders only. Cannot be combined with any other discounts or special offers. Cannot be applied toward labor or delivery charges. Photos must show Rentals Unlimited product.

In The Green House
Behind the Scenes
Bob Bannister moved here with his wife, a Canton native, and started working at Rentals as a driver in September of 2010. He has since moved up the ranks and now works in the dish department as Manager of Small Wares and Catering Equipment. Bob previously lived in Chicago and was the assistant branch manager at Richard's Building Supply, a wholesale distributor of exterior building products. He hopes to be able to create procedures and processes for his department that will allow Rentals to improve service for our customers and ensure a higher degree of quality and accuracy of orders. When he is not working at Rentals, Bob enjoys working on his home, as well as reading and history.
