Spring has sprung. WOW - it is like someone turned on a
switch and we are off and running. Our two newest showrooms, Portland,
ME and Hyannis, MA
are fully stocked and ready for you to come in and visit. Sally Newhall will be heading up the Portland location. She

event last month. The attendance was beyond our wildest dreams. It gave everyone

 | Rentals Unlimited Shines at ISES
On April 13th, at the 2010 ISES New England Chapter Meeting, Rentals Unlimited was awarded the 2010 ISES Esprit Award for the Best ISES Team Effort Budget up to $75,000. This category honors excellence by a team of ISES event professionals (team minimum of three ISES Members) producing an event or meeting. Rentals Unlimited, Entertainment Specialists, Adroit Hospitality Group, and Saphire Estate worked together for The Villa Grand Opening Party, and were all acknowledged with the award.
It is through our valued partnerships that we are able to put on such great events, and humbled to have been awarded such an honor. We sincerely thank our partners for all of their hard work to make this event such a success!

The Corporate Headquarters in Stoughton is getting a much needed addition. We are expanding our offices at 45aa Tosca Drive to accommodate our increased sales team and allow space for a conference room. We apologize for the noise & mess during construction, but we promise that the results will be worth it! has been a world traveler since the last e-newsletter. I went to Paris
for relaxation and
to be inspired, but as all of you know, Rentals Unlimited is all about
service
and making things happen. When Candice Dowling Coppola of Jubilee
Events
called and said that they were creating a table in Paris for a
photography seminar, I told her
that I would be there to help dress the tables... How about that for
service! Many thanks to Jubilee Events, Robert and Kathleen Photographers, and Parisian Events for involving us in such a
great project!
I also
found inspiration while eating croissants at a wonderful café that was
designed
in lavender and French blue with silver accents. The room was done with
just the
right amount of each hue! Bold, bright colors were in store windows
everywhere,
accented with - of course - black! I didn't realize there are so many
shades of
black!
There was also
a great window design that was a step above "au naturale" and "green" -
every
natural branch, twig, rock and mushroom was silver leafed. What a
gorgeous way
to add a modern twist of elegance to organic materials.
Don't

setting. The

In The Green House
Katie Foley comes to Rentals Unlimited with the acquisition of Festive Occasions. Her new position of GM of Operations includes overseeing the day to day operations of each individual department, and helping to direct the growth and expansion of the company. Katie began working at Festive Occasions in 2001, and has been working as a GM in the industry for 25 years. She is excited to be on the Rentals Unlimited team, and looks forward to being a part of the company's future.
Todd Carpenter first started at Rentals Unlimited fresh out of high school in 2006. Over the years he has learned the ins and outs of dispatch operations. In his current position of Dispatch Manager, Todd schedules all truck itineraries for the Stoughton warehouse - including deliveries, pick ups, and event set ups. He also monitors the drivers' schedules to try to keep everything running smoothly and on time. Todd is furthering his education by taking business classes at Bridgewater State, and has begun the American Rental Association's Certified Event Rental Professional (CERP) program.
Mike Hurley also comes to Rentals Unlimited with the acquisition of Festive Occasions. Now the Dispatch Manager for the Woburn location, Mike schedules all truck itineraries for deliveries, pick ups, and event set ups. He also helps track the trucks leaving from the warehouse and on their return routes to keep the itinerary accurate and on time, and helps monitor and maintain the vehicles in the fleet. Mike has been in the special event rental industry for 13 years, and is excited for the opportunity for growth with the Rentals Unlimited team.
