Welcome to the table!
It has been a real roller coaster ride through 2009, thank goodness that it is behind us. But looking back most of us weathered the storm
fairly well. Together we worked to come up with innovative ways to make it all happen.
We worked on tight budgets and made them fit to make it all happen. We altered
our schedules to make it all happen. This was the year of tightening our belts
and strengthened our forces to come out stronger. It was a time of cutting
back in the right places, by lowering overhead where ever possible, being more
lean and mean, and buying only the necessary things that would set you apart.
Sales personnel needed to be bolstered and strengthened, customer service became
even more keen, and listening to customers needs became the key to success.
Hopefully during 2009 we were able to meet all your needs.
As we move into 2010, we realize that to stay competitive we all must work
together to "make things happen". Here at Rentals Unlimited that is our motto,
"we make things happen". And to that end we are dedicated to you, our customers,
to make this another successful and banner year.

Style Me by DaVID .....aka David Price
Thinking out of the box in the world of color and texture is one of my favorite things, (don't worry I won't break into song). There are no rules on table décor anymore except the fork should be always on the left and the knife on the right. Holiday colors don't have to be just reds and greens or blues and silvers. Work with the tones and colors of the room and the design process becomes easier. Variety is the spice of life....do this with color, textures, patterns and prints.
On this table I used slinky satins with whimsical plaids, rustic pine cones with bright shiny objects, traditional damask with modern acrylic chairs to achieve a very festive feel! Candlelight is a must, place it low on the table and elevated it high to to the eye, in my world-you can never have enough candles. Add all these elements to your table and this makes a perfect atmosphere for a gay ole time. Photo provided by Ludwig Photography

"On the Move" As we look forward to beginning an exciting 2010, we've also reflected on some of our great achievements in 2009.
The launch of our new furniture line in 09' has proved to be the sought after product our clients were craving. Our versatile furniture line, offered at competitive rates and delivered with the same high quality service our customers expect, will set the stage for your next event.
In November of 2009, Larry Green was featured in the "Meet the Experts" section of Boston Magazine. Larry was happy to share tips and secrets on design trends and customizing your event.
In October of 2009, Rentals Unlimited joined forces with The Registry at Bloomingdale's in part of the celebration of 15 years of Martha Stewart Weddings with one of the nation's most recognized and trusted wedding experts, Darcy Miller. Darcy is a sought-after speaker, author and illustrator who has been featured on leading news and lifestyle television shows nationwide. Darcy talked about how to create a registry that reflects their unique lifestyle. Rentals Unlimited paired with Dana Markos Events, showcased beautiful tablescapes from romantic destinations around the world, including France, Italy, Mexico, the Mediterranean and Caribbean.
As we close the chapter on 2009 and open anew for 2010, we are beginning the year strong! This January Rentals Unlimited has been selected to design one of 10 Featured Table Tops. If you are planning to attend The Special Event Show, don't forget to visit and vote for our table (#9) and be sure to check it out in the upcoming edition of Special Event Magazine.
Also this month, our very own Larry Green has been nominated for an individual Spotlight Award for Samaritan Service. Larry is honored to be considered for this award. If you have not had the opportunity to vote, please show your support and Vote Now.
At Rentals Unlimited we are always "On the Move" Look for our future issues to see what's happening!

In The Green House
As a small family run business, it is important to us that our clients and friends get to know "our family". We are happy to announce the addition of three new members to our family.
Sheli Beck Silveria comes to our Newport Office with several years of special event industry experience. Industry professionals from Newport County may remember Sheli from her time as the Executive Director of The Astors' Beechwood Mansion. She was also on the advisory board for the Hospitality Academy at the Career and Technical Center; her work won the award for innovation in education from the Hospitality Association. She is thrilled to be a part of the event industry in a new way. Sheli's previous experiences and knowledge of Rhode Island venues give her insight that she hopes will be helpful with planning your rental needs.
Michaela Corso joins our Stoughton office with in-depth experience in catering and hospitality. With a degree in Recreation Management and Hospitality, she previously worked at The Catered Affair as the Account Manager for their Picnic People New England division. She has been involved in the special events industry for several years now, and loves being a part of it. Michaela is thrilled to be a part of the Rentals Unlimited team!
Becky Nye joins the company as our Cape Cod sales representative. She spent five years coordinating events with a tent and party rental company, and likes to think of her experience as making memories. Before that, she spent five years in the floral industry, which is where she acquired her attention to detail. With several years of experience on the South Coast, Becky hopes that her Cape area expertise will help improve our service and accessibility for all of our clients in the region. She is very excited about this new opportunity to continue doing what she loves - helping others make memories with their loved ones.
