Holy Land Tour Anniversary |
 | Our group on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem |
Can you believe that one year ago today we were all together in Jerusalem? We walked from the top of the Mount of Olives down to the Garden of Gethsemane, then proceeded on to the Garden Tomb. After 12 days of touring Israel from top to bottom, we said goodbye to our guide Mendy, Mr. Bubba Mysis himself, and our driver, Sasson with the soulful smile. We learned more about Israel than we could ever possibly remember, saw the magnificent sights of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Masada, and the Galillee, swam in the Dead Sea, and ate enough falafal for a lifetime. Thank you all for joining us on this incredible journey.
On that last day of our trip, the eyes of the world focused on Israel's interception of the Turkish flotilla headed for Gaza. Who would have guessed that just one year later the Middle East would be engulfed in a massive wave of change. Who knows what the future holds for the Middle East. We can only pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and the entire region.
 Shalom!
