Sage MAS 90 and 200 are Now Compatible with Windows 7
It's official! MAS 90 and MAS 200 are Windows 7 compatible for all those using version 4.30 or 4.4.
If you are using an earlier version of MAS and plan to move to Windows 7 be sure to carefully plan this transition. It might be better for you to upgrade before this move.
The best time to upgrade your operating system is when you buy a new PC. If you are planning to purchase a new PC or upgrade your system consider that any version of MAS 90 or 200 prior to 4.3 will not run with Windows 7 and could cause considerable inefficiencies. |

Back to the Basics of Going Paperless
In the early 1980's the world was introduced to a new term- the paperless office. The appearance of electronic calculation, transmission and storage devices was meant to bring to an end the mountains of paper that all offices, small or large, generated. The idea was that all of the documents that had to be printed and stored could now just be faxed, scanned or e-mailed.
The paperless office struck a chord with many office managers all over the world because they viewed it as a huge cost cutting exercise for their companies-less paper and filing meant lower office expenses.
Did this ideal become a reality? The answer is both yes and no.

MAS Software Solutions Slices a New ERP Solution for Weber
 As Weber experienced growth they realized that their small business accounting system was not providing the information they needed, causing significant problems. Rob Mogren, CFO for Weber recalls, "Inventory control became a major issue. Despite having strict internal controls and actively watching our procedures, we continuously encountered our system telling us we had an item in stock that wasn't really there. "The reports come with a limit to the number of characters you can include, but the team at MAS was able to override the limits so that we can include the details necessary for our customers." |

 Michele Herzog is a Financial/Systems Consultant for MAS Software Solutions. She specializes in the installation; implementation and upgrading of MAS 90 and 200. She prides herself on helping clients eliminate manual processes and become more efficient by providing strategic financial solutions. Michele has 10 years of experience with MAS 90 and is fully behind the product. Of her job, Michele said, "Using my areas of expertise to help so many companies become more efficient with their finances and workflow is very rewarding."
As a CPA and CITP with over 20 years of experience in the financial and accounting arenas for small to medium companies, including 14 of those years as a CFO and Controller, she can step in as a CFO for her clients as needed. Michele has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas City, Missouri. She has an exceptional understanding of IT and the financial experience necessary to help MAS Software Solutions clients achieve success. |
