Hello Mineral Lovers...the Ides of March...it has been a long winter for most of us...so we ask: "How are we preparing for Spring?" Are we cleaning out our closets and getting rid of that which no longer serves, giving it to those that may be served by donating or selling these items? Are we placing stones in the light of our next full moon March 19th (Happy Birthday James) so that they may be cleansed and purified in moonlight...the reflection of the Sun light? Are we meditating, joining a class so long wanted? How are you springing into what makes you...You? How are you dancing your soul's music? More importantly...are you dancing your soul's music? The stone we have chosen for this month is perfect for our theme. Cavansite supports the "Springing" into the dance of your individual soul to go forth and let your light shine, to dance your own dance and sing your own song for earth healing and peace...Cavansite. "It's energy helps one reach a place of great stillness in meditation, where the presence of the I AM joins in direct communication with the individual soul" (Naisha Ahsian).
Cavansite: Ca(VO)Si4O10(H2O)4, Hydrated Calcium Vanadium Silicate.
Cavansite, a rare and beautiful mineral, is found mostly only in Poona, India. The deep peacock blue color of the spherical rosettes with prismatic crystals makes a dramatic addition to any environment. Since it is found in only small pockets and is difficult to mine, it is rarely collected. When it is, it is a magnificent mineral.
Cavansite unites and connects the throat and third eye chakras. It helps facilitate effective communication with a high degree of understanding and insightful inner awareness of that which is intended to be disseminated. This makes Cavansite a wonderful stone for channeling spiritual and truthful information with ease and comfort.
