- Coach's Corner, Advanced Junior Clinic for ages 14-18, 2:00 PM, Sundays $15 JGFA members, $20 non-JGFA member. For Junior Golfers serious about playing for their high school team or in local junior tournaments. Participants must have completed all JGFA levels or demonstate equal ability. This is a walk up clinic, pre-registration is not required.
- Men's Day, Every Thursday, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, starting November 5th. Mid-day rate plus $5
- Women's Day, Every Thursday, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, starting November 5th. Mid-day rate plus $3

Golf Tip of the Month
Develop A Powerful Turn The more you coil your body as you take the club back, the more power you will generate on the downswing. Make sure it's the right type of coil; that is, don't let your weight sway laterally outside your back foot. When that happens, balance is sacrificed and it's very tough to shift back into the right position on your downswing to ensure solid contact.
The ideal backswing turn should position your weight over the inside of your back foot. The ideal position at the top of the backswing should be to have the middle of your back pointed to the target. Make sure that your shoulders are turned more than your hips to store maximum energy so that it can be released on the downswing.
